Emerging infectious diseases continue to challenge global healthcare systems and diagnostic laboratories. This paper reviews pathological findings associated with viral, bacterial, and fungal infections, including newly emerging pathogens. Molecular diagnostics and genomic surveillance improved rapid pathogen detection and outbreak response strategies. The study highlights the critical role of pathology in infectious disease preparedness and public health response.
